The piece Un-completed is a sculpture strong conceptually and visually.

The material of polyurethane foam it self is a very strong metaphore. The foam is expanding but the expansion is very limitied. In the end the different pieces of the foam that I installed on the wall will never reach each other. This is a very strong paradox and oxymoron. The foam expands but only until its own limits, therefore the pieces will remain untouched and Uncompleted. It amost creates the idea tht the materials of the piece are always moving, the foam expands and the colours mix, but they never reach each other.

On the same time, vizually the colours were intentionally very vibrant, it almost looks like they are not settling in. The contrasts are unusual and to the eye of the viewer they are meant to create curiosity.
