With this piece I wanted to create to the vewers the feeling of gravity. I wanted the piece to be visually simple but complex on the same time. By using the thread I managed to manipulate the fact that it is almost weightless and I managed to create the illusion of weight on it. I made 2 different versions of the hanging sculpture in order to experiment and study more the different shapes the thread lines create. This piece is inviting its audience to change their angle of seeing it in order to observe the different shaped the lines create.
It is a piece that it is floating and on the same time it looks heavy.
